In the marine foodstuffs sector it has a wealth of experience in marketing, corporate and institutional cooperation, the implementation of environmental measures and improvements to food technologies.

It has carried out a number of projects, for instance, concentrating on the applications of macroalgae and microalgae, interaction between aquaculture and the environment, the cultivation of different aquatic species in the same space, or the creation of new added-value foodstuffs such as sea chorizo from fishery or aquaculture by-products.
